ERP Credit

ERP is the abbreviation for the European Recovery Program, better known under the name "Marshall Plan", after the American Foreign Minister George Marshall, who initiated the programme in 1947. ERP credits supported and support founders or businesses, small and large economic enterprises in the financing of projects with favourable payment conditions. Since 1990, the programme helped in particular companies in the new Federal states which often would not have had the opportunity to start again without the low-interest and initially redemption-free credits with long terms: Until the end of 1994, 234 000 credits were granted with a total volume of approximately DM 40 million.
